The key to success when it comes to family beach portraits is to get all your best shots in during that infamous golden hour. Nothing beats the soft glow of the sun low on the horizon in this little window of time. And here's another pro tip for you: going early in the morning to beat all the beach crowds is a MUST. Most people prefer to spare themselves the early wake-up calls, but pay for it when they have to edit people out of those sunset shots ;)
