The photography process
A simple, thoughtful process from the first email to the finished gallery—so you always know what happens next without the experience feeling overly formal.
Planning • location • session • hand editing • gallery delivery

Send your preferred date, general location, group size and anything that may affect mobility or timing. We’ll reply with availability and the collection that feels like the best fit.

When you’re ready, the signed agreement and $250 retainer make the date officially yours. Everything is laid out clearly before you pay.

We’ll help choose the location and start time, send wardrobe guidance and learn a little about your family so the session feels comfortable and easy from the beginning.

On session day, we’ll guide you through everything, keep the pace comfortable and make adjustments whenever children—or real life—need something different.

Your photographs are carefully hand edited and delivered in a private online gallery, ready to download, share and enjoy. Family galleries are currently delivered in about two to three weeks.

What we need from you
You don’t need a mood board or a minute-by-minute shot list. A few simple details help us create a plan that feels personal and easy.
Names, ages, households and the total number of people.
Grandparents, wheelchairs, strollers, injuries or very young children—anything that helps us choose a comfortable location.
Home area, resort, rental, beach town or part of Central Florida.
The full group, grandparents, a new baby, an annual update or simply the joy of having everyone together.
Before booking
Families, extended families, vacation groups, newborns and selected studio sessions. The location and pace are adjusted to the people involved rather than forcing every family into the same formula.
Yes. We give clear direction, organize the group and keep an eye on the light. The goal is not to pose every finger; it is to make sure no one is standing there wondering what happens next.
Absolutely. Neither is unusual. We start with the photographs that need the most cooperation, keep the session moving and build in space for children to reset.
Yes. We’ll recommend locations based on group size, children’s ages, mobility, season, light, travel schedule and the amount of walking involved.
As soon as your date is firm, especially for spring break, summer travel, holiday weeks and extended-family gatherings. Earlier booking also gives us more flexibility if weather changes.
We keep an eye on conditions and follow the weather terms in the agreement. A passing shower is different from unsafe lightning, heavy rain or a beach wind advisory, so decisions are based on the actual location and forecast.
