A few beach questions families often ask.
Is sunrise or sunset better?
It depends on the beach, the season and your family’s schedule. Sunrise often brings cooler temperatures and quieter sand, while evening can create soft, flattering light. We’ll recommend the option that works best for the location you choose.
How much do tides matter?
A great deal at some meeting spots. Tide height changes the amount of open shoreline, reflections, rocks, walking distance and where a large group can stand safely.
What happens when it is windy?
We’ll adjust the direction and keep hair, clothing and movement in mind. When the wind becomes unsafe or truly unusable, the weather terms in the agreement apply.
Can grandparents join a beach session?
Yes. We’ll choose flatter sand, a shorter walk or an alternate setting when mobility is a concern.
Should children get in the water?
Usually near the end. We’ll make the polished family portraits first, then let sandy hands and water become part of the fun.
What should we wear?
Breathable fabrics, coordinated colors and practical footwear for the walk. We’ll recommend avoiding stiff clothing that becomes uncomfortable in wind, heat or humidity.
